Edited by María Carmen Gómez-Cabrera, José Viña, and Leocadio Rodríguez-Mañas, the volume brings together researchers working across geriatric medicine, physiology, nutrition, physical activity, metabolism, and the biology of aging.

The book approaches frailty as a multidimensional geriatric syndrome, moving from conceptual and biological foundations to practical issues in prevention and clinical management.
