The University of Florida Institute on Aging awarded five travel grants to researchers presenting original work at the 2026 Gerontological Society of America Annual Scientific Meeting in National Harbor, Maryland.
Each recipient received $1,000 in travel support. The awardees were Samantha Ali, Ariana Burga, Stefano Cacciatore, Mark Viggars, and Keon Wimberly, representing research across aging, psychology, pharmacy, and physiology.
The meeting will take place from November 4 to 7, 2026, bringing together researchers and clinicians working across gerontology and aging science.
