Stefano Cacciatore, MD, received two travel awards supporting his participation in the 2026 Gerontological Society of America Annual Scientific Meeting: the Institute on Aging Trainee Travel Grant from the University of Florida Institute on Aging and the Gerontological Society of America Health Section Travel Stipend.
The GSA Annual Scientific Meeting is one of the major international gatherings in aging research, bringing together researchers, clinicians, educators, and professionals working across gerontology and geriatrics. The 2026 meeting will take place in National Harbor, Maryland, in November.
The awards will support his participation in the meeting and the presentation of ongoing research in aging, intrinsic capacity, and functional health.
The recognition reflects the commitment of both the University of Florida Institute on Aging and the GSA Health Section to supporting early-career investigators and their participation in major scientific meetings.
