Stefano Cacciatore, MD, was awarded the Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship to support an international research fellowship at the Institute on Aging at the University of Florida.
The scholarship supports advanced training and research experiences abroad, providing early-career professionals with the opportunity to further develop their work in leading international institutions.
Through the award, Dr. Cacciatore will join the University of Florida Institute on Aging, where his research will focus on healthy aging, intrinsic capacity, and the preservation of function and independence in later life.
The fellowship will offer the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary research environment dedicated to understanding the biological and clinical processes that shape aging and to contribute to ongoing research on healthy longevity.
